Whether it’s a French press, a Bialetti or a latte, if you have a love for coffee, there’s a high chance that it’s a fierce love. An all consuming love. An “I can’t live without you” love. Sure, you may take a break every now and then, but once you’ve fallen in love with coffee, it’s hard to ever really commit to a long term separation.
Pulled from throughout the ages, from writers to actors, here are 15 great coffee quotes that will pair perfectly with your morning cup.

Over the last three weeks you’ve cleaned your appliances, decluttered and restocked the pantry, and wiped out all the cupboards. Now you’re in the home stretch of The Kitchn Cure, the final week, which means addressing the only areas we haven’t hit yet: the sink, countertops, and floor. So, take a deep breath, pull on those rubber gloves, and remind yourself that you can totally do this. Let’s start with the sink area:
If there’s one thing we love this time of year, it’s a cold and sparkling glass of sangria or fruity cocktail, poured from a pitcher large enough to share.
Today we have 17 favorites for you, from the boozy to the non, from sparkling peach sangria to the classic Hurricane, and strawberry gin smash to spicy ginger lemonade. There’s even a non-alcoholic sangria. None of these take too much work or too much time; they’re just easygoing, easy-sipping summer drinks for a long weekend. Pour a pitcher and relax!

“This is a pico de gallo recipe that will have everyone asking ‘how did you make this?’ They will be surprised when you tell them the ingredients include a pickle!”
It’s the final days of August and I confess that I’m ready for the fall. I’ve become watchful, alert to subtle shifts and signals: the changing light, the shorter days, a touch of something in the air. This morning, in the courtyard out my back door, I notice that a few of the green apples on my neighbor’s tree, the ones that are up high and facing south, have taken on a touch of rose. Around the corner, the persimmon tree sags under its load of hard fruit, grown to the right size but still firm and a deep, unripened shade of green. In the market, I keep a keen eye out for the first of the winter squash even as I’m filling up sacks of bargain-priced, summer-glut tomatoes.

“The blueberries in these whole wheat pancakes are so sweet and moist that they don’t even need butter when eaten while hot! This is our Saturday breakfast, healthy for me; yummy for husband and kids.”
