July 4th Recipe: Red, White, and Blue Trifle
Happy Friday everyone! We hope you’re already deep into a long weekend that started yesterday with grilled chicken, watermelon, sparklers and sunshine. Are your 4th of July picnic plans continuing this weekend? I’m plotting a S’mores party with my sister for her birthday, and also planning on grilling a slab of fish for dinner tonight. What about you? What’s on your menu? Inspire us with your July cooking festivities!
I hope you’re not too stuffed after your 4th of July festivities! These lemon bars need to be on your to-do list this weekend, for sure. If you’re still hankering for barbecue, take a look at our method for making rotisserie chicken on the grill. Serve it with a side of garlicky grilled kale salad, a few Honey Bee Cocktails, and some spiced watermelon wedges for dessert, and you can thank us later for your summery feast!
Q: I was wondering whether you or your readers could advise me on any food blogs by bloggers that have gone from being food enthusiasts to actually opening up their own restaurant, cafe, bar, or bakery, and blogged about their trials and successes? I would love to read about something like this.

We just learned the most interesting trick for cooking corn on the cob for a crowd — have you ever heard of “cooler corn”?
