  The past few days have been wet, cold, and blustery in my neck of the woods. The best meal I ate all week ranged through hearty, simple fare of warm lentil salad, butternut squash soup, and a dish of rice pudding; and my cooking this weekend is going to continue in that theme. I’m thinking about homemade spaghetti sauce, and a big salad of fennel and olives. What about you? What has you dreaming of the kitchen today?
