How Do I Clean This Stubborn Residue From the Bottom of My Oven? — Good Questions

Q: I have used silicone oven liners for several years now with great success — I truly love them. However, for the first time in my life, I FORGOT to remove the liner before using the self-cleaning feature on my oven. Needless to say, the liner adhered to the base of the oven — I was able to remove most of it, but it left a white residue on the entire oven and door.
