“Reds, yellows and greens are mixed together in this vibrant, flavorful salsa that perfectly captures the essence of summer.”
Some of my favorite kitchen organizing tips are in this big collection of smart ideas from our readers so it’s no surprise that the comments on that post continued to offer up many more great thoughts. Here’s one tip from a reader on a (maybe unexpected?) thing she always keeps in her kitchen.
Tomorrow is an important Pi Day — in fact, it’s one of a kind, in this century anyway. The date will be 3.14.15, which adds another set of pi-correct digits to the date’s usual three. (If you celebrate at 9:26, even better.)

I have a such a stack of cookbooks I have been wanting to cook out of, and seeing Michelle’s rainbow array of books reminded me to dig in and get going. What about you? Have you bought or borrowed any new cookbooks lately? What looks good? I’d love to hear about anything you’ve recently discovered and loved. And tell us: What’s cooking this weekend?

“Mild onion, kiwi, banana and orange are spiced with a chopped pepper in this refreshing summer salsa. Try it with chips, or as a side to grilled meats and fish.”
