America’s biggest party — the Super Bowl — is about to go down. That means putting together an epic menu of wings, nachos, chili, pizza, chips and salsa and, of course, cold beer. How To Make Veggie Cream Cheese — Cooking Lessons from The Kitchn

In my opinion, the best store-bought veggie cream cheese comes from the deli (not the dairy case), where the veggies are freshly added and the bright flavors prove it. This homemade riff takes a strong stance on fresh herbs and vegetables too, while dirtying just a single food processor bowl. The resulting cream cheese is onion-forward with a carrot-rich sweetness and just a touch of fresh dill. It’ll make your morning tastier, turn a last-minute bowl of pasta into something to get excited about, and upgrade your afternoon snack of crackers with just a swipe.

chocolate peanut butter cup cookies

The internet, or at least as far as I’ve seen, has three favorite peanut butter cookies. The first is a thing where you take a peanut butter cookie dough or prepared chocolate chip cookie dough, press it into a mini-muffin tin, press a miniature peanut butter cup inside of it and bake them together. Nobody has ever made these for me and I’m kind of mad about it. The second is this 4-ingredient, one bowl, hand-whisked salted peanut butter cookie, curiously absent in flour, butter and leaveners, that’s been around forever until the clever cooks at Ovenly figured out that using brown sugar instead of white, them into larger half-domes, and covering them with sea salt raised them to the unforgettable. The third is a soft chocolate cookie wrapped around a peanut butter filling and bakes into peanut butter cup cookies. No wait, pillows.

And as a certain cookie — the gooey oat / bake sale winning-est bars in my second cookbook — won the previous year, this cookie effectively knocked it off its pedestal, oh, my interest was piqued. And by piqued, I mean, how dare it.

Ina Garten Just Shared Her Dip Recipe for the Super Bowl — Pop Culture

I have a love-hate relationship with following chef and food personalities — including Ina Garten — on Instagram. It’s so hard to look at all the delicious food they are making when I don’t have it in front of me, or have the necessary ingredients in my fridge or pantry to make what they’re cooking. But today, when Ina Garten mentioned her favorite dip recipe for the Super Bowl on Instagram and on her site, I knew I had everything in my house already to make it for Super Bowl Sunday, and I bet you do too.

The New Food TV Shows & Movies to Stream in February — Stream, Eat, Repeat

The last couple days I’ve noticed a lot of people online praising the fact that January is over. It is a long month. Many people participate in “dry January” where they don’t drink alcohol for 31 days. Other people are feeling the burn of their New Year’s resolutions. So, it’s time for a reward. Let yourself hibernate a little bit more in February. Take a break, relax a little, and curl up with some quality movies this month.

Here are all the new things coming to Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and HBO this month.
